Today’s guest Unshelved Book Club comic was created by Audrey Hamelers, a recent Drexel MLIS grad who frequently posts illustrated book reviews on Bibliovermis. She’s spent October posting reviews of spooky books complete with a 1-5 ghost rating, including Anya’s Ghost, Coraline, The Orphan of Awkward Falls, and Zombie in Love. And I’m super happy that she’s reviewed one of my favorite zombie graphic novels for us just in time for Halloween, Brian Ralph’s Daybreak.

Elsewhere in the Unshelved Book Club, you’ll find books about moonshine, a ballpark, a Portland girl, a badger that’s also a detective, sexual harassment, an axe murderer, a fairy tale, and a picture book about a little boy worried about the size of his zizi.
