After the briefest of visits home Gene and I are jumping back on a plane to Houston this morning for the Texas Library Association annual conference.
On Thursday we’ll be giving our talk Surviving the Public in room CPE#417 courtesy of the Small Community Libraries Round Table and Public Libraries Division (but everyone is invited). It starts with a business meeting at 8am, followed by our talk, and ends with a book signing.
The rest of the time we’ll be at booth 1440. Here are your instructions:
- Come by early and get a free Read Irresponsibly badge ribbon while supplies last
- Check out our brand new Library Notebooks, the perfect way to record those moments that drive you crazy, but will make a great story one day
- Buy one or more of our thirteen 1” buttons!
- See if Gene was telling the truth when he said his new book Poopy Claws contains graphic depictions of cat poop (he was)
- See if I was telling the truth when I said my book Runtime Error contains graphic depictions of software development (I was)
- Complete your collection of Unshelved books, with the Standard or Much Too Much Information editions of our newest collection Too Much Information. We’ll also have a limited supply of our book bundles on hand.
- Take advantage of conference pricing on shirts, bags, poster packs, and greeting cards.
We look forward to seeing you!
