Welcome to Unshelved, the comic strip formerly known as Overdue. It's been a busy few weeks. Right before we were to go to press on our new book we discovered that the name Overdue was probably not trademarkable thanks to one uncomfortably similar prior use. We scrambled to find a new name, and finally threw a contest, which ended last Tuesday. This email describes some of the thinking that led to our final choice. Then computer troubles delayed our announcement and the unveiling of this, our new look website. We have some neato features planned for this site, but rather than roll them out all at once we'll be releasing them bits at a time. We hope you'll enjoy it.
