I have begun to exit a prolonged period of inactivity. Starting last December, when I began ramping up drawing and production work for What Would Dewey Do? I have been a busy little beaver, building up our business and drawing hundreds of strips. But aside from a brief period of bicycling I've hardly done any exercise. And that isn't good.
One of the benefits of working at Microsoft is free membership at a local health club. Starting this week I'm swimming there several mornings a week. I'm also walking to the bus stop and then to my office from the work bus stop, and climbing all five flights of stairs to my office several times a day. It's not a triathlon or anything, but at least I'm moving again.
