One of the reasons I'm glad we signed our distribution deal with Diamond Book Distributors back in May is that now I don't have to interpret purchase orders, pack books in boxes, create invoices, send books by various different shipping methods, and reconcile payments or, worse, follow up on unpaid invoices. One of our customers is significantly late with a significant chunk of change, the kind that seriously affects cash flow at a small press like ours. Fortunately they're a big enough company that I don't despair of getting paid - it's just a financial pain and a logistical hassle. Glad I won't have to do this much longer. I have comics to draw, after all.
