We've been giving way too much real estate to Google Adsense. We got a nice little revenue bump when we started running them, but they're so ubiquitous I think people just ignore them now. So goodbye Google, and maybe one day we'll do some ads people really want to see.

Actually the cat's right here, hissing at the dog. But I did ask Sara to take the kids and head out of town for the weekend so I could get some serious uninterrupted creative time to work on Volume 3. And so far, so good. Gene and I have most of a first draft for the mysterious "new content" part of the book. It's not perfect - not even close - but it's good to have something to work with. Today I'm hope to finish that draft and get the cover mostly done.

Meanwhile the bachelor life is in full swing here at the Barnacle residence. Dishes aren't being washed, vegetables aren't being served. This morning I slept in and for breakfast I ate leftover chicken and chocolate chip cookie dough while watching Buffy season seven. I miss my babies but the occasional time off is good for the soul.
