The preorder period for LMCM ends Friday and I for one will heave a small sigh of relief. It started a little slow and I was worried at first. Then it picked up. Last wek we blew through my first prediction and we might surpass my revised prediction as well. By any measure our biggest and best promotion ever, which is what you might expect from a growing audience, but we couldn't be sure. Frankly we have so many orders that it will strain our ability to get the books signed and packed in one weekend, but we'll get it done. It is, as they say, a nice problem to have. And then we can put our heels up for about a month. And then it's ALA.
