This week we're travelling to the great state of Illinois despite Gene's fear of flying and Bill's fear of Gene's complaining about his fear of flying.
On Thursday at 4pm we're speaking at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in room 126 GSLIS as part of their Colloquium series. Please stop by to say hi and hear us blather on. We'll also be signing books afterwards.
Friday through Tuesday we're all day every day at the American Library Association conference at booth 1935 in the Graphic Novel Pavilion.
If you're a comics fan attending ALA don't miss meeting Strangers in Paradise's Terry Moore (who wrote the introduction for Cage Match), superstar comics painter Alex Ross, and artist Gene Ha, a favorite of ours who has the good fortune to collaborate with writing genius Alan Moore.
This is the closest we get to a summer vacation, so for the next two weeks the strip will be in repeats. Enjoy the golden oldies. The new stuff will start again on July 4th, served up with apple pie.
