Gene just finished adding the signups from ALA and in doing so we handily passed by 10,000 email subscribers. As I tediously explain every time I discuss this topic, this number is a fairly arbitrary measure of our success. We have many thousands of fans who read Unshelved by RSS, on the website, by web syndication, and by this weird offline wireless "book" device you may have heard about. But it's as good a metric as any other, and I'm pleased as punch to be there. Welcome new readers!

This week I'm experimenting with lettering the strip using a font. I did this in Empire County Strikes Back the graphic novelette embedded within Library Mascot Cage Match and was much pleased. Please let me know what you think.
