The Unshelved Book Club has brought me back to life. Making the daily strip is fun, but I was itching for some other creative outlet. Despite the fact that it features the regular characters, our new Sunday feature feels totally different. The challenges involved in figuring out the right way to present each book - who's going to do it, how do we make it funny and yet respectful of the book, how to draw it - will keep me busy and excited for a long time to come. And it has made making the daily strip much more enjoyable just by the sheer contrast.
