As some of you know, I have a day job designing software at a largish software company here in the Pacific Northwest. Unshelved is fun, but it will be a while before it is able to support both Gene's and my families in the style to which we've become accustomed (buy stuff!). So it's off to work I go every day.
For a few weeks now I've been blogging about my work on "information cards" at Card Carrying. It's pretty impenetrable stuff if you aren't one of the 200 or so people thinking hard about this topic right now, but over time I hope to use that blog to do the sort of of writing about technical topics that I used to do at Slate but which has nothing whatsoever to do with the Unshelved side of my life and therefore doesn't really belong on this site.
Now what I'm wondering is, do I need a third blog?
Just a quick reminder that this is the last day we're guaranteeing availability of our store items for delivery by Christmas. The next deadline is December 11 where, if we have it, it'll get there by Christmas. Beyond that you're on your own! Order here.
