When we spoke last month at the New York Library Association annual conference, we agreed to do a fund-raising raffle, the prize being an appearance in Unshelved. The winner was Barbara Nichols-Randall, director of the Guilderland Public Library in Guilderland, NY, and she makes her debut in the funny (web) pages in Friday's strip. I met Barbara, and she is not nearly as childish in person as she appeared here. Thanks to her for being a good sport, and to everyone who bought a ticket in Saratoga Springs.
