At ECCC I ended up chatting with superstar comics colorist David Baron for a few minutes - very nice guy. So it was a little weird when I realized that our very next Book Club on Global Frequency featured an illustration from a issue drawn by Jon J Muth and colored by the same David Baron. But it was even weirder when, moments after finishing said Book Club, I walked into our living room and picked up a wonderful children's book called Zen Shorts and realized it was by Jon J Muth. We also own (and my 3.5 year old daughter won't let us stop reading) his The Three Questions. I had simply never made the connection before.

So imagine my total shock and surprise when I then opened the front door to find Global Frequency author Warren Ellis standing right there! Okay, that last part was a writer's embellishment. But it was still weird. And Warren, you're welcome to drop by any time.
