Unshelved readers are awesome - in less than two days you have already transcribed over 1100 comic strips! And I am awesome because I have personally edited and approved each one. Let's try to get the rest knocked off by the end of the week so I can put the Search functionality on the site and the games can begin (I personally want to know how many strips feature the word "coffee").

Some style guides and tips for you:

• Book Clubs look like this:

• Some ongoing character names: Cathy is Dewey's girlfriend, Sanjay is Merv's friend who is being homeschooled, Computer Victim is the totally bald, well, computer victim. Fred is the partially bald hapless patron, Grandma is Dewey's grandma, and Angry Lady is the always-irate female patron with only one eye showing at a time. There's also a Little Old Lady in the flowered dress and a stature-challenged Little Old Man in a suit and hat. And the mother and son who look and talk alike are Mother and Son.
• Some of you are putting in complete scene descriptions. I appreciate the attention to detail, but it's not necessary.
