At BEA we recorded a number of "Book Slams" with publishers big and small. Everyone who participated had ten minutes to book talk as many books as they could. Our guinea pig was Talia Ross from Macmillan. What you will hear here is something like our fourth take after various equipment problems. Talia did great, despite being verbally abused repeatedly by both Gene and myself.

Well, not the radio, per se, but at BEA we were interviewed by a professional radio interviewer. He had radio voice and everything. Listen and you, like the rest of the world, will fall in love with my high-pitched nasally voice.
