For over seven years Gene and I have been speaking professionally at conferences, staff days, universities, and corporate events. The truth is that we just love it, and speaking last month at the South Dakota and Wyoming Library Associations, respectively, reaffirmed how much we enjoy making an auditorium full of people shake with laughter. There’s really nothing like it.

The problem? We’ve spoken at so many events that we are literally running out of new places to go. But that’s cool, because we now have more than one talk. Last year we made return engagements at the New York and California Library Associations, performing our new talk “Surviving The Public: the Unshelved approach to customer service”, and this February we’ll be doing it again at the Alaska Library Association.
