When Gene and I are old(er) men I trust we look back on 2011 as our high-water mark for business travel. Our 2011 calendar currently comprises twelve keynotes, one on-stage interview, and eight conference exhibits, in fourteen states and one province. It’s awesome and terrible all at once, and I only hope that when it’s all over our children remember what we look like.

We’ve already begun our Winter/Spring tour through San Diego, Juneau, Seattle, Virginia Beach, Austin, Orlando, Layton, and New York. This Summer we’re in Smithfield, New Orleans, San Diego, and Los Angeles. And our Fall schedule has finally solidified, with stops in Little Rock, Dayton, Kansas City, Bloomington, Greenfield, Fort Wayne, and Chicago. (We may yet add one or two more events, especially if we can fit them in to existing trips in ways that don’t meaningfully increase the insanity.)
