I am not shy about telling people how much I love our book talk section, The Unshelved Book Club. Two years ago Gene and I set out to solve the problem of how to make book recommendations that were

1. Short
2. Useful, and
3. Fun

and we succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. Give us ten minutes every Friday and we’ll let you know about a dozen or so books that you just might like. Some are new, some are old, but all come highly recommended by either Gene, myself, or a few family and friends. And there are usually a few sponsored books too, custom picked for you by the author and/or publisher.

Lately we’ve been experimenting with monthly special themed editions: Cook Books, Graphic Novels, and Young Adult Literature, and the response has been terrific Let Gene know if there are others you’d like to see.

And tell your friends! You don’t have to love Unshelved to love the Unshelved Book Club. But it helps.
