Bill and I are huge fans of BookExpo America, and once again we’ve got VIP tickets to give away. This year BEA runs from May 27 - 29 at the Javitz Center in Manhattan.

Come for the ARCs, ogle your favorite authors and celebrities, and see us speak. This year, on Friday the 29th, Bill and I are going to create a comic from scratch, live. We’re gong to need a lot of help from the audience. We may need you to break up a fight.

The good folks at BEA are once again giving us 50 VIP passes for librarians (and library employees doing the work outlined below) who:

• have not attended BEA in the last three years
• have authority or influence over books their library or library system purchases
• work for a library system with more than three branches, or at a library that’s over 20,000 square feet

Just email me from work and let me know, briefly, how you qualify. Please include: your name and title along with your library’s name, address, phone, and fax (if, for some reason, you haven’t tossed it in the dumpster yet).

Passes will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified library folks. We promise to let you know when we’re out.
